The entertainment industry is absolutely full of talented Australian stars these days and every single one of them is also good-looking. There are a lot of Australian actors and actresses working in Hollywood at the moment, with plenty more no doubt heading there in the future and, while some of these stars have become household names on a global scale, others do not quite get the recognition their talent deserves.

Australian actress Nicky Whelan rose to fame on the hit Australian soap Neighbours, before then deciding to make the move to the US to prove that she has what it takes to mix it with the best that Hollywood has to offer. While Nicky has had a fairly successful acting career in Hollywood over the past few years, she has yet to really land that big leading lady role, which she would easily be able to handle.
As well as appearing in television shows including Scrubs, Franklin & Bash, Chosen, and Matador, Nicky Whelan has also appeared in movies such as Halloween II, Hall Pass, Left Behind and, most recently The Wedding Ringer. Meanwhile, Nicky will appear alongside an all-star cast in the new Terrence Malick movie Knight of Cups, as well as the movies Extortion, and Diamonds Down Under.

It is clear to see that Nicky Whelan has already enjoyed a long and successful career in Hollywood and has plenty more projects lined up for the coming years but we can't help but think that she has so much more to offer. As well as being stunning beautiful, Nicky is also a very talented actress and we feel that she has what it takes to be a huge Hollywood star. Let's hope she soon lands that big leading lady role that he talent deserves.
