When it comes to the hit television series The X Factor, the focus should really be on the contestants and who is the better act but, time and again it is the judges that become the centre of attention. While The X Factor is not currently on the air, it is still the judges making the headlines, as Louis Walsh and Cheryl Cole have become involved in a war of words recently.
Louis Walsh recently came out and claimed that Cheryl Cole was "lazy" and "irrelevant", which has led to Cheryl to retaliate. Cole took to her official Twitter account to say, "I am beginning to wonder if Louis has some kind of an obsession with me... This is the same man asking me what he should say to contestants on our way to the stage bc 'he doesn't know'... Dear Lou Lou. Try using your mouth to say something positive abt something positive (sic)."
Now, head judge Simon Cowell has come out and admitted that he loves the fact that Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh are butting heads. Cowell said, "There was always going to be a clash, they're like Tom and Jerry these two. I wish they'd fight more on the show actually, why do it on Twitter?... What we should do is invite Louis down every week just to argue with Cheryl."
Why invite Louis Walsh down when he is already one of the judges? You might ask. Well, it was recently revealed that Louis Walsh is being replaced as a judge on The X Factor for the new season, as Simon Cowell looks to freshen up the show a bit and get someone new and exciting on the panel.
