There has been so much talk about what the future holds for the Marvel character The Hulk, with some suggesting he would appear in the new movie Captain America: Civil War, while others have called for a Hulk standalone film. What has been confirmed though, is the fact that Mark Ruffalo will reprise his role as Bruce Banner aka The Hulk in the new film Thor: Ragnarok.

Mark Ruffalo has been speaking about playing the role of Bruce Banner and The Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, admitting that he loves coming back to the role time and again. As well as that, Mark also said that he would love to see Bruce Banner and The Hulk sharing the big screen together, facing off with one another.

Ruffalo explained, "I play Dr. Bruce Banner, and occasionally I turn into a big green, mean monster...(laughs)... I am excited to keep coming back to this role. I see a lot of space for it to grow. I feel like there’s a lot of cool stuff to explore still, especially the relationship between Banner and Hulk. Hopefully, we’ll see the two of them in a scene together. That would be cool! I don’t want to overstay my welcome and I hope I never do. If I do, I’ll be the first one to bow out."

As well as seeing Mark Ruffalo in Thor: Ragnarok, we will also see the familiar faces of Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, and Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif. Thor: Ragnarok is set to hit the big screen on October 27, 2017 in the UK and November 3, 2017 in the US.
