Well it seems that Hollywood veteran James Cameron has certainly ruffled plenty of feathers after his constant criticism of the latest Wonder Woman movie. James has decided to come out on more than one occasion, to slate the Wonder Woman movie and insist that the character is not a positive role model for young women around the world.
As well as that, James Cameron made some very harsh comments which are just rude, unfounded and are pretty much patronising too, which has really ot under the skin of many people. Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins has already defended her movie, while the 70s television Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter has now hit out at Mr Cameron.
Lynda took to her official social media account to say, "To James Cameron -STOP dissing WW: You poor soul. Perhaps you do not understand the character. I most certainly do. Like all women--we are more than the sum of our parts. Your thuggish jabs at a brilliant director, Patty Jenkins, are ill advised. This movie was spot on. Gal Gadot was great. I know, Mr. Cameron--because I have embodied this character for more than 40 years. So--STOP IT."
A lot of people have just been shrugging off the comments that James Cameron made, after all, what has it really got to do with him and why should his opinion really matter? Wonder Woman was a fantastic and groundbreaking movie, whether Mr Cameron likes it or not, so let us all just focus on the positivity of the Wonder Woman movie and not give the haters any more air time.
