Those of you who are regular readers will know that we love this time of year, as we get to talk about the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and what we are hoping to happen with the publication every year. This year has been a little bit different to previous years though, as the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2017 Rookie Class has already been revealed and we can already start voting for which model we want to be named Rookie of the Year.
The Rookie of the Year award is certainly a huge honour, with many of the previous winners going on to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue later down the line. In recent years, we have seen the likes of Chrissy Teigen, Kate Upton, and Nina Agdal winning the Rookie of the Year award, before then going on to appear on the cover in a future issue, so the winner will certainly be in great company.
The Rookie Class this year is full of stunningly beautiful women, all of whom are capable of winning Rookie of the Year, but there are three who really are standout to us. We have been a big fan of the Brazilian beauty Lais Ribeiro for many years now and we are surprised that it has taken this long to see the stunning star appearing in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, so it will not come as a shock that Lais is our top tip.
Meanwhile, Kelly Gale is another model who has enjoyed plenty of success on the modelling scene over the years and has all the attributes required to go on to become a future Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl. Finally, we have the gorgeous Danielle Herrington, who we have to admit we do not know a great deal about, but we are definitely looking forward to seeing much more from her in the future.
The Rookie of the Year race is not only going to be between these three though, as there are other top models in the running, such as Myla Dalbesio, Vita Sidorkina, Bianca Balti, and Mia Kang.
