When we found out that the new Marvel movie Thor: Ragnarok was not going to take place on Earth, it did not take long for the fans to question whether or not we would get to see anything from the likes of Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, or Kat Dennings as Darcy. When it was revealed that neither Natalie or Kat would be making a return for Thor: Ragnarok, there seemed to be mixed feelings from the fans.

A few weeks back, as we were getting ever closer to the release of the new movie, we asked the question whether we would miss Kat Dennings as Darcy in Thor: Ragnarok, with some fans feeling like she would leave a big hole in the film. However, with Thor: Ragnarok now out in many countries, it actually seems that the lack of Kat as Darcy has actually improved the film and the humour.
One fan shared, "I thought we would miss the humour of Kat Dennings as Darcy but this is a very humorous movie and you don't even give her a second thought." Meanwhile, another fan added, "So glad they got rid of Kat Dennings as Darcy in Thor; Ragnarok, now there is no forced humour just to fit her in the fil. Let's hope this is the last we see of her!"

We would love to hear your thoughts on the lack of Kat Dennings as Darcy in Thor: Ragnarok, whether you agree that it was the right decision or whether you felt like you missed her in the film.
