Isabel Lucas turns heads in "The Loft" and sparks interest as leading lady

 

 

The Australian actress plays a feature role in the movie and despite the film receiving some harsh reviews from critics her performance reportedly did leave some entertainment observers feeling that she has the potential to be a leading lady star in Hollywood. 

 

She played a feature role in the movie and even with her performance having taken place four years ago showed the ability to leave an impression on fans with her facial expressions as much as with her dialogue. One of the most important things an actress can do when on camera is leave an impression such that viewers cannot forget the individual throughout the movie and after they have left the movie. Isabel Lucas accomplished this feat not just with her body but her facial expressions and her voice. 

 

 

The movie may have been 'savaged' by critics but she did what the best actors almost always do: she showed an ability to keep the attention of viewers with her acting.

 

She will appear in two other big screen movies in 2015, director Terrence Malick's "Knight of Cups", a drama-romance and the thriller movie "Careful What You Wish For" opposite Dermont Mulroney and Nick Jonas. Her role in the latter movie has some entertainment observers anticipating that it might be the role that makes her a 'known' name to the average American movie fan. 

 

One reason why she is so intriguing as an actress for Hollywood casting agents, producers and directors is that there is a belief among some entertainment insiders that if she can provide a memorable performance with an 'underwhelming' script such as that which she had in "The Loft" than imagine what she might accomplish with a very good script (NPR - January 29).

 

Isabel Lucas is an actress who has the attention of Hollywood filmmakers and is very likely going to become a much talked about actress as a leading lady on the rise after the release of her movies "Knight of Cups" and "Careful What You Wish For" and as such is someone movie fans will want to keep their eye on in 2015, something that will not be difficult considering she is both talented and gorgeous.
