Hollywood hunk Chris Hemsworth was a relatively unknown actor before he landed the role of Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, catapulting himself into one of the biggest, best and most popular stars in the acting industry. Chris has been perfect as Thor ever since and he will always be remembered for playing the role but what does the future hold for the actor as the character?
Well, there has been a lot of talk about Chris Hemsworth stepping down as Thor after The Avengers 4, with his contract being up and the Marvel Cinematic Universe deciding to take a new direction, letting a number of the regular faces leave. However, it looks like Chris might be tempted to continue in the role of Thor beyond The Avengers 4, although it seems that he might have a few rules.
According to a source close to the actor, Chris Hemsworth does not want to have to do any more topless scenes as Thor and he has stated that, if Marvel do agree to make a Thor 4 film, then he will not take his top off for the movie. Apparently, the main reason Chris does not want to have to do the topless scenes, is so that he does not have to train so hard for the role, which has been getting more and more difficult over the years.
We are sure that if Marvel want to have Chris Hemsworth back to make a Thor 4 movie, then they will do whatever it takes to make it happen. We are looking forward to seeing what the future holds for the Marvel Cinematic Universe and which of the regular, more popular characters are actually going to walk away from their role.
