It was not too long ago that Armie Hammer was considered one of the top, young, up and coming actors in Hollywood, with pretty much everyone tipping him to become one of the biggest and best superstars in the business. While it is probably fair to say that Armie has not quite reached the highest of heights in Hollywood, he has still enjoyed a successful acting career and takes on some very interesting roles.
Armie Hammer can next be seen on the big screen in the new movie Call Me By Your Name, which sees the actor having to take on a number of different nude scenes throughout the film. Armie has now been talking about having to go naked for his latest role, admitting that he struggled with it to start with, although he did manage to become a lot more relaxed about it as the filming progressed.
Hammer revealed, "It's the same with any intimate stuff that we may have been apprehensive about before: 'Ooh, we're going to have to get naked, we have a blow job scene or whatever. The minute you've finished the first take you're [saying] 'Oh, that wasn't so bad. Shall we do it again?'"
He added, "When you start out acting they tell you you're going to find these roles that challenge and change you and you start to think it's an idealistic fantasy, but this was one of those. Luca told me 'I want to reach inside you and grab you and push you'. And that's what he did."
Call Me By Your Name has been directed by Luca Guadagnino, based on the screenplay that James Ivory developed from the Andre Aciman novel, with the movie set to hit the big screen on October 27 in the UK and November 24 in the US.
